Regulations on cancelling, withdrawing, removing and replacing published articles
1. Principle, purpose and scope of JASAT
The principle and purpose mainly focus on the content and propaganda orientation of the Journal, including: in-depth and specialized information, introduction, scientific research results, guidelines, and exchange of teaching experiences, researching the fields of the educational training of the University of Agriculture and Forestry, Hue University on agriculture, forestry, fisheries, natural resources, environment, climate change, and so on.
2. Regulations on cancelling, withdrawing, removing and replacing published articles
a. Cancel the article in the process of being published
The article is cancelled by the Editor-in-Chief when to be found:
Serious errors that change the conclusion of the article;
Accidentally submitted with another article that has already been published;
The author has violated the ethics of research and publication such as submitting articles to many journals at the same time, false copyright statement, plagiarism, and data, or other similar cases
The entire content of that article will be withdrawn from the Journal's online publication management system, and replaced with an HTML page or/ PDF with “the canceled article: [Article Title]”.
b. Withdraw the published article
The published article is withdrawn to errors during the submission and publication process due to the author and/or co-authors who have violated the ethics of research and publication such as submitting articles to many journals at the same time, false copyright statement, plagiarism, and data, or other similar cases:
⦁ For the printed version of the Journal:
A note titled “Withdraw article: [Article title]” will be published in the next issue of the Journal, and listed in the table of contents of that publication;
⦁ For the online version of the Journal:
A note titled “Withdrawn article: [Article title]” along with a link to the original version of the article (PDF format) will be displayed on the Journal's online publication management system. The content of the original article (PDF version) will not be changed, but there will be a watermark written on each page “The article has been withdrawn”. The HTML version of the original article (if any) will be withdrawn from the Journal's online publication management system.
3. Remove the published article
The removal of the published article is applied by the Editor-in-Chief in special cases: (i) The article has been clearly violated legal regulations; or (ii) the article needs to be removed by the request of a court or other law agencies;
Typically “This article has been removed for legal reasons”. The Editor-in-Chief decides the content of the detailed explanation for the reason why the article has been removed.
4. Replace the published article
Replacing a published article is applied by the Editor-in-Chief when the article is a risk of leading to serious health problems of human being if readers implement according to the article's content;
Replacing a published article is carried out by the request of the author on the original article and approved by the Editor-in-Chief. The author of the original article that desires to withdraw the erroneous original article, and replace with a new, edited and supplemented version must give a written document;
Edited and supplemented articles must go through the peer review process according to Article 8 of the regulation;
If replacing the article is applied to a published article, the following measures will be implemented:
a. For the printed version of the Journal:
A note titled “Retracted article: [The title of the original article], and replaced by the following article: [The title of the alternative article]”, along with the full text of the new replaced article will be published in the closest issue that the article’s replacement policy is applied, and listed in the table of contents of that publication;
b. For the online version of the Journal:
A screen with the note “Retracted article: [The title of the original article], and replaced by the following article: [The title of the alternative article] ”, along with a link to the edited, supplemented version of the article (PDF format) will be displayed in the Journal's online publication management system.
The first page of the replaced article will clearly display the history of the article, including information on the date of receipt, the date of acceptance for publication of the original article and the replaced article, and an explanation of why the article was retracted.
c. The PDF version and HTML format version (if any) of the original article will be withdrawn from the Journal's online publication management system.
